Conflicts and Responsible Media - Watcher of disaster... and actor of change
In a highly chaotic situation where millions of people are in danger, can media stay a passive and neutral observer? While preserving its independance and critical position, media and journalists should acknowledge the huge power they posess de facto and their potential role of player, locally and internationally. Hence they may be also a resource for understanding between belligerants and exposure of the other side's mindset or proposals for peace. But how?
