Reporting conflicts - an Asian perspective
The session will focus on the role of media in reporting conflicts, and what can be done when they are not allowed to cover a conflict fully - with Sri Lanka and Gaza as two examples. The session will also look at the new media and how they might help journalists get around restrictions on covering conflicts.
