He is an alumnus of the International Institute of Journalism (IIJ) and has a Diploma in Communication Studies from the African University College of Communication (AUCC) in Ghana. During the 2008 general elections in Ghana, he was on the media team of the country's former Foreign Minister and Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo and travelled the length and breadth of the country with him during the campaign period.
