Maung Maung Myint

President of the Burma Media Organization

Maung Maung Myint (Burma, 1958)  is the president of the Burma Media Organization, an independent organization established in January 2001 by overseas Burmese journalists, reporters and writers who practice and advocate freedom of expression in Burma.

In the early 90s Myint worked as editor at the Democratic Voice of Burma (Norway). Since 1997 he is special correspondent and editorial consultant at Radio Free Asia (United States of America)
