Bruce Shapiro is Executive Director of the Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma, a project of the Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University in New York, encouraging innovation in coverage of violence, conflict and tragedy worldwide.

Shapiro is also a contributing editor at The Nation (US) and U.S. correspondent for ABC Radio National\\\'s Late Night Live (Australia). He teaches investigative journalism at Yale University.
