Grahame Lucas

Head of Soth Asia Department, Deutsche Welle

 

 

Grahame is presently the Head of the South Asia Department at Deutsche Welle, Germany's international public broadcaster. In this capacity he is responsible for DW's multimedial output in Bengali, Hindi and Urdu as well as English for Asia.

During his career at DW he served as a TV and radio correspondent in Bonn and Brussels with a strong interest in German and European affairs and international security and development issues. Later on Grahame was appointed Head of News and Current Affairs in the English Service and coordinator of web output.
