Alan Wiliams

A career journalist, Alan Williams has been with the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union since 1997. He joined as Senior Officer, News, and in 1999 became Managing Editor of Asiavision, a daily TV news exchange among leading broadcasters in 17 Asian countries. He has overall responsibility for ABU news activities. Alan joined from Radio Australia, where he worked as a news and current affairs journalist for six years. Before that he was a sub-editor at TVB-Hong Kong and Senior News Editor at Radio Television Brunei. He has also worked for newspapers in South Africa, Zimbabwe, the United States and Hong Kong.
