Bonn is very accessible by car or by train and the Cologne/Bonn Airport is just a short drive away. The venue of the Deutsche Welle Global Media Forum is the World Conference Center Bonn.The former federal government Plenary Chamber and the Waterworks, located in the old Parliament building form the heart of the current congress center, with the extension of the World Conference Center Bonn scheduled to complete the facility in 2010.

The World Conference Center Bonn is located in the middle of Bonn's former government quarter, in the immediate vicinity of the United Nations Campus, the Deutsche Post Headquarters, Deutsche Welle and next to the river Rhine.

Directions via Public Transportation

At Bonn central station take tram towards "Bundesviertel". You can use the lines going both to Königswinter and Bad Godesberg (Line 63 or 66). Get off at the Heussallee / Museumsmeile stop and follow the signs to the Bundeshaus.  Follow Heussallee to the junction with Platz der Vereinten Nationen. Turn left into Platz der Vereinten Nationen. We are 100 metres down the street on the right.
