The City of Bonn

Bonn is a centre of international dialogue. Not just because Deutsche Welle is there. A dozen United Nations agencies are based in the city on the Rhine. More than 100 international institutions and non-governmental organisations work there. The city hosts several "global players" of German business.

Some 50 high-profile, globally networking science facilities operate in Bonn and its immediate neighbourhood. Important agencies and some ministries of the German government are located in the former German capital. Bonn offers a wealth of sights, rich cultural variety and a broad range of cuisines.
